Datamined WoW Forever gear points to unusual bonuses even on low-level equipment. The designs are still provisional.

The findings emerged on 17 September 2026 and describe work in progress ahead of launch. Datamining offers an early look at possible equipment effects, rather than a finished list of changes players can count on keeping.

The level 56 Postmaster set includes a spell-reflection effect triggered at low health. Necropile's Raiment can steal life through spellcasting, while Bloodmail's Regalia can cause attackers to bleed. Those effects give the three sets different ways to respond to combat.

Embrace of the Viper has another unusual effect: collecting five pieces can give attacks a chance to stun a target for one second. Defias Leather also appears among the low-level sets receiving attention in the datamined gear.

Other sets lean into class abilities and particular enemies. Dread/Deathmist raiments can fear attackers, with a 60-second cooldown. Grovekeeper's Rage permits Rebirth while in bear form, and Demonheart Raiment grants spellpower against demons.
