World of Warcraft: Forever beta testing is open to selected players and eligible digital bundle purchasers.

A return to the original Azeroth is the setting for this reimagined version of Warcraft. Blizzard is inviting beta players to explore it and provide feedback, with community veterans, press, fansites, friends and family among those receiving invitations during the test.

The opening beta week pairs the Skyborne race with Zephras Isle and includes two dungeons: Hall of Thanes for levels 13-18 and Ruins of Lordaeron for levels 15-20. Characters initially stop at level 20, with a rise to 30 later in testing.

More zones and dungeons will become available as the test progresses, alongside a new battleground. Blizzard also intends to open a later Server Slam window lasting several hours, giving everyone a chance to enter the beta during that period.

Access is handled through Battle.net. Selected accounts are flagged for the test; participants install the beta by choosing its entry under In Development in the launcher’s Game Version menu. Blizzard identifies October 21 as the final full testing day.
