Blizzard Entertainment outlines Midnight Season 3 dungeon plans that may change during development and testing.
A shorter Uldaman run is Blizzard Entertainment's goal. Its plans cut the boss total from five to four on Heroic, Mythic and Mythic+ by disabling Lost Dwarves. For Emberon, health thresholds would determine when Purging Flames activates, replacing the repeating energy cycle.
Changes to every Iron Docks boss are in Blizzard Entertainment's plans, covering all four encounters. An Iron Stars redesign is also being explored: the aim is to keep them powerful while making a run depend less heavily on their use.
Every enemy and boss encounter in The Stonecore is in line for a new design as part of Blizzard Entertainment's full revamp. Many familiar creatures would receive updated models. Millhouse Manastorm's pursuit through The Winding Halls remains part of the design.
Fewer densely packed casters are a goal for Sanguine Depths. Blizzard Entertainment is looking at reducing non-boss abilities with cast bars and merging Dark Acolytes with Wicked Oppressors into one creature type that players would meet less frequently.
For Elder Leaxa, Blizzard Entertainment intends to reduce the emphasis on interrupts. Cragmaw's encounter is being revisited to encourage wider use of the arena. The Underrot's non-boss enemy placement is also under review, with new routes through its final section a particular focus.
